WOW!! What an incredible two days of fitness and festivities at the UCC Kona Marathon! The event brought together our community of runners, cheering family and friends, island visitors, returning and new partners, local businesses, non profits, and our tireless volunteers. On behalf of the entire Kona Marathon Team, thank you for making this year’s race a memorable experience. It was extra special this year because the race was held on July 4th.
CELEBRATING 28 YEARS
Run your race, pick up your finisher’s medal and snacks, then stick around for the vibrant parade through the Historic Kailua Village and the fireworks spectacular over Kailua Bay.
This will definitely be a race to remember.
The 2026 races will include the:
- Kona Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Kona Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Kona Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles)
- Kona 5K (3.1 miles)
